HOUSE HUNT

I don't remember when it was...it had to have been over 8 years ago since they just celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary....my childhood best friend Stephanie and her then boyfriend Dan, came to San Diego for a beach filled weekend. It was the first time I had met Dan and I immediately approved. I had never seen Steph so happy and in love. Since then their story has unraveled...marriage...babies (another baby on the way) and all the while they continued their family beach trips out to San Diego. Every trip started with a happy teary hello and a sad teary goodbye filled with promises of a return. They would always "joke" about moving to San Diego but I NEVER imagined that joke would become a reality! After countless "I can't believe it" phone calls, I think it has finally set in....the Evans Family is moving to So Cal!!!! I am beyond excited! I love my little sobrinos Brooke and Brighton and I can't wait to be more involved in their lives. Gisele is going to love playing with them! Much to Steph and I's excitement Juan and Dan totally hit it off! (haha sounds like we set them up on a date) We didn't want to pressure them but Stephanie and I both breathed a sigh of relief when we realized they were enjoying hanging out just as much as we were. Anyways last weekend they drove out for a whirlwind house hunt. In between the house madness we managed to fit in a couple evenings together and a day at the beach.

^^^Brighton and Brooke had a blast playing in the water (even while fully clothed lol)
^^^Gigi and Rob joined us for some beach fun and lunch! Look at how big he is getting...almost ready to be a big brother :)
^^^Haha goofy dads and kiddos! Wish we had Gisele with us. So excited to be Auntie Raquel to another little Evans kid :)
^^^Silly Rob doing his crazy laugh (haha looks like he is yelling at me...such a character!)
I think they will be right at home playing with Gisele :)
So excited!! It had been 2 1/2 years since I had seen Steph and the kids. Now we are going to be "neighbors!"
